spin me 'round again
and rub my eyes,
this can't be happening
when busy streets a mess with people
would stop to hold their heads heavy

p.s.
(Be sure to full-view if you think it looks really blurry ;) )

Wow cool... how did you do that? I love the words you put with the picture. Well done :)

- They called it Paradise, I don't know why. You call some place Paradise, kiss it goodbye. -

This is a very traditional concept, but I think you've done it very nicely. I really like the exposure you used, I've seen people do this a lot and keep the subject and everything but the primary lightsource (ie the glowy things) generally kept to a silhoutte, but you actually kept some detail and showed just how interesting the lighting actually looks. Now for the bad, it doesn't look like you used a tripod or maybe the focus was a little off, basic point though is I think the picture would have been that much nicer if the sidewalk and the building or whichever you saw fit would have been in sharper focus.

Thanks a lot! Glad you enjoy it!

I can see how the subject is blurred because of the slower shutter speed and her motion, but I'm not sure how you see the background being too out of focus. I did use a tripod and was focussing on the subject (girl and flames) rather than the building or sidewalk. Thanks for the input though!

I just looked at it in full view, looks much better than it does in the regular view. Then I retract my previous criticisms and say very nice all around, just looks funky when not in full-view.

I usually hate these types of photos, but this piece was so well thought out that it is great. I love using long exposures to get that look of motion.
